does something like the Odyssey LaGuardia exist for MTB? I worry about smacking my chainring into a rock coming down the trails in Phoenix and tweaking it but I don't have that concern on my BMX bike. I can't really seem to find anything comparable and was wondering if it even exists.

maybe look into a good bash guard? saved my chainring multiple times on the rockier trails.
