What is the purpose of it? Problems with the main clamp? Change of seatpost sleeve needed? My saddle started to slightly slip down after 1 year of almost daily use (folding + unfolding), however cleaning the seatpost and the surface of the sleeve with isopropanol, plus slightly tightening the screw of the clamp for about 1/4 of a turn (screw protruding out 2 mm, before this adjustment 1.8 mm, so still below 3 mm limit) helped.

There are two gang of members suggested for the solution of slipping seat post. I joined the 2nd clamp camp now. Sleeve change gang, thanks for all the advices. I might change the sleeve when the 2nd clamp spoiled in the future.

Just ordered a clamp as well. How did you proceed for filing the lip exactly?

A second clamp does not prevent damage to the frame, you NEED a new sleeve
