Whenever I go biking I always get these spiky thorn things stuck in my bike making my tires go flat…..

How do I either prevent these from getting stuck or whag should I be doing so my bike doesnt get flat everything one of these punctures my tube

This is only like 1/4 of my wheel and you can already see 4 of them…

What do I do so I stop getting flats from these thorns….

  1. Tannus armor can be a solution if you don’t want to go tubeless. It goes between the tire and the inner tube protecting it from punctures

There will be people who hate this but… I put orange seal brand sealant inside my tubes assuming its above freezing it works good.

  3. Goat head thorns are tube killers. If you can go tubeless you’ll have a slightly better chance.

My route to work is riddled with small sharp flints between the farmers fields. I cut two extra inner tubes longways and obviously removed the valves , now each wheel has two inner tubes between the inflated tube and the tyre . Several hundred miles later and not one puncture. I’ve had to pick out out loads of small stones stuck in the tyre but not one has stopped me .
