$3k for rim brakes in a big ole’ size. It was a sick bike back in the day but that’s too steep. A step down component wise in the next generation would be a better bike if you’re willing to throw that much money at something
Also, those brakes and that bike in general was the worst shit imaginable to work on. The brakes are weird, center pulls and swapping cables is an absolute nightmare. Proprietary seatpost as well.

Had a trek bike before and I loved it

you will love this!
Old bike, too expensive.
I wouldn’t pay over $2000 for ANY rim brake bike.
The fussy, unique, and rare hidden rim brakes are a deal breaker
Don’t waste your money, it doesn’t even come with the Madussy
Too much money, but more importantly, it looks like it’s for someone 6’4”. How tall are you?
No, I regretted buying one of these every day I owned it
Hard pass.
$3k buys you a good modern entry level carbon disc brake bike. You can get a BRAND NEW Trek Madone SL5 gen8 right from their website for $3199.
