Looking for my first road bike. Plan on using it for fitness and races in the future. Buying used and am currently deciding between these two. What are your thoughts?

The S-Works will be so efficient but at same time harsh to ride, unless your roads are perfectly smooth pavement.
If you want comfort, look at Roubaix, which doesn’t sacrifice a lot of pedaling efficiency for huge improvement on less than perfect roads, being newer disc can also run wider tires. You can prob talk the price of that Roubaix down a lot more too. I bought a Giant Avail with Full Disc Ultegra 11-spd for $800 cash.
Get the roubaix. It’s with the little bit of extra money
