do you ever struggle to find new wild camp locations today I'm going to be talking through my five top tips for finding wild Camp spots number one is to use forums like Reddit uh online and as long as you're putting in as much information as you're taking out people are pretty happy to share locations number two is to do location scouting while you're on Hikes like today me and Alex are out for a hike in the Pete District looking for a new camp in the Woodland number three and probably the one that I use most is a combination of os maps and Google Maps uh what I tend to do is I look at the terrain settings on Google Maps and I try and find the highest points then swap it over to satellite and just double check if it's farmland or not uh a lot of the time I'll look for street view locations um that's a good way to also find some good spots um and then I'll use OS map to check if there's any public foot paths nearby and that just means that it's got good access you can check where there's parking and if you can get away from the public and then usually that'll end up being a good spot number four watch YouTubers like myself they usually have some good hints and some good tips um sometimes they'll do videos of like the best places to Wild camp and you can usually pick up figure out where they're W camping in those videos too number five it's just we uh no rough location head out with plenty of time get there set up and hope for the best is there anything that I missed off my list if so leave it in the comments below and if you like the video then please do show your appreciation and give the video a big thumbs up thank you so much and see you out on the next adventure
