  1. Depending on which Race Face crank that is, you may or may not need a crank puller (some of them have self-extractors, for which you only need a hex key). Race Face’s direct mount lockrings use the most common 20-spline BB tool pattern (Park Tool BBT-22 or similar), but need to be torqued to 40Nm (requires mid-to-large-size torque wrench).

The actual operation is quite simple, if you have the right tools; just turning a few threads, and then lining up the spline pattern of the DM interface.

If it’s a new bike why don’t you get it to the shop you bought it from?

Other than that it seems this bike is equipped with a Raceface Aeffect Crank. This crank is self extracting, means if you loose the allen bolt on the right crank arm it will detach the arm from the spindle. As soon as you got the crank arm off you’ll see the Chainring is attached by the “Cinch” Direct Mount system from Raceface. You can get/ might need a tool (standard BB tool like park tool BBT-32) so you can tighten the Lockring which secures the Chainring.
