Just got a new MBT this week, 2nd ride got a flat, keen to convert to tubeless.
Given that the rims are new, will i need tubeless tapes? If i wait a few months will it cause me issues. Any trips/recommendations?

Rims: Syncros X-30 / 32H / 30mm Tubeless ready
Tyres: Maxxis Rekon(r)/Dissector(f) / 2.6 / 60TPI Foldable Tubeless Ready / EXO

Normally tubeless ready means they have the applied the tape already but they are still running the tube inside.
If you buy the tubeless kit it normally comes with the sealant, valves and tape.
Once you take the tire off you will see if there is tape or not.
I ran my bike for a year with tubes and only converted to tubeless when I decided to change tires. Doesn’t matter when you do it.
