Got this stumpy from a friend whose neighbour was bringing it to the dump. He saved it but didn't have time to do anything with it. The seatpost was stuck and i tried everything and finally made a post here and got some tips to try NaOH. After several weeks of soaking the post in NaOH it was gone.
I allready have a gravelbike, a hardtail & a dadbike so this one is for fun. I went all in with my stupid color obsessions. I did some reversed Kintsugu, because the frame was already gold, with some turqouise paint. Changed the 26 wheels for some second hand 27,5 rimbrake wheels from a donor bike from marketplace. Use litepro brake to do the conversion. Tire clearance is great. The tires are simworks the Homage 650b x 55. Used alot of stickers on the frame and figured they would be great for the chainstay protection.

That is a serious color statement if I ever seen one ๐ It’s great. Black brakes seem like a lost opportunity, though…
super sick color scheme
Does the BB feel very high?
Great colors, love it!
The 650Bs look great! And the turquoise too ๐ nail polish?
OP is doing the Lord’s work!
Nice job keeping the original mech too. Glad it’s not another boring 1x conversion.
I love! Whatโs the seatpost?
Really great composition! The touch up painting works great!
Crazy how you can instantly tell it’s NL from the first pic
everything is done well until u put that mudguard
imo drop the mudguard or get nicer ones
Sweet build
The reversed Kintsugu is inspired, well done!
