Hey everyone,
I am in the process of buying my first road bike and came upon this one. I am training for my first 70.3 coming up next year.
The first owner is selling it and told me he had only done 2000km on it and mostly used it on an indoor trainer. This guy is asking 1200€. (includes the padel and the water bottle holders)
What do we think about the price?
Is it a good option for a first bike? I am aware that it is a bit old (2018) but especially where I live the second hand market does not have a lot of options. I could go for less known brands and get 2021 model bikes. (is it a good idea?)
Also could go for more expensive one’s although this one just speaks to me ahah. If I go for 1400-1500€ range there are few options, 2022 and upper, from local brands.
There are few scratches on the frame and the wheels but nothing serious.

Amazing bike, would buy. Has a newer better groupset than what came on it at the time also. Wheels are ok, bars are not the one piece but what you’ll want for mounting aero bars on.
The is one of the most hated bikes of all time for mechanics.
Keep that in mind when running new cables, adjusting brakes, and adjusting bars/headset.
If you don’t work on your own bike, keep that in mind when the local mechanic who doesn’t know how to work on this, charges you their hourly rate to do this lol.
