It's called "Stoßlüften" and makes a lot of sense.
I have implemented a regime of stoßlüten in my house in England, it has dramatically improved the quality of air and reduced our chances of condensation/mould. Particularly useful if you have older windows or a house built around 1970 that doesn't have good ventilation properties. Danke schön.

В холод люди вынуждены как-то утеплять помещение, в результате как-то кислород поднимается вверх, и если у вас большое потребление кислорода(вы мужчина, высокий человек, много мышц и тд) вам тепло, но плохо и необходимо свежий воздух с кислородом доставить и потом все опять нагреется и по новой через какое-то время. Я живу в холодном климате, делаю тоже самое. Европейцы обычно высокие, а миниатюрные люди так не чувствуют это.
