Nah I started riding 29″ back in like 2006. I remember riding my first 29er with a guy who had a big hit just like this one.

I do, by chance. Got my first used proper mountain bike 5 months ago. Giant XTC 0 26″.
I don’t know any better so it’s been awesome so far…

I do, just because the bike is so playful. 2012 transition TranAm

Not since everything better came out 15 years ago.

Yep because my bike is ancient (2008 specialized FSR). Currently the plan is to buy a new bike once my son can pass me on the trails. Till then I’ll spend the money getting him and his younger sister new bikes.

Still have my 26/24 big hit comp. So squishy, heavy, and inefficient… but I’ll never sell it. Its also a wheely machine so i can impress my kids.

Nope. 29 for over 7 years now. Would love to check a mullet build though.

I just sold my last 26” inch bike (yeti asr) just because I wasn’t riding it anymore and wanted someone else to hopefully enjoy it. I switched to 27.5” canyon spectral because I thought going to a 29 would be too awkward but then bought a 29” transition repeater last year. Love the canyon for bike parks though because the 29” does feel pretty massive

Yup. 26″ on pavement and gravel, 27.5″ and 29″ on the trails

I would only ride a mullet of 29 in the front and 26 in the back if all I did was downhill and never had to bike up. 29 just rolls over everything so well

Bought a 29er Cannondale hardtail in 2009 (when they still called them 29ers) and haven’t looked back since. That bike still kicks ass too.

I have two Kona Hoss Matics from 2005 and 2011, so yeah

Progression. There is a reason it’s tough to ride and unload comparatively. That said, whatever gets you on the trail is a good bike! Go ride!

26 with a 29. The sweet spot.

I’ve ridden 26ers since the early 90’s. Had a 26 SC Blur and sold it and bought an SC tallboy 29er and absolutely hated it. I ride tight twisty single track and the 29er turned like a battleship. I felt I rode sloppier with less skill because I could just roll over anything. Sold the Tallboy and just bought an older Stumpy 26er to build up. I guess I’m just old and set in my ways haha. Get off my lawn!
