Endurace CF 7 SRAM. Found what looks (and feels) like two nicks on the frame by the derailleur. Is this a crack in the carbon frame I should be concerned about?

Your saddle is probably too high.
You can remove the plastic disc between your cassette and the rear spokes.

Probably happened when putting in the wheel. Some bikes come with the back wheel inserted and some don‘t i think. So depends if you put it on or not. It‘s not that bad but i would still complain because you paid for a new bike.
