Some of you may have seen that I posted earlier this week needing help picking my next bike. Well it comes down to these two
Infos : i’m a road biker that wants to have one bike to do it all. My starting budget was closer to the cervelo bike but I want a bike that I can keep for years and won’t need to upgrade too much (i dont know much about bikes specs and all)
so the cervelo aspero grx610 (4.4k all in)
Or the scott addict gravel 20 (6k all in)
Is the 1.6k cad more worth it?

Tested one of them yet? Do you want electronic or mechanical shifting? Do you do maintenance yourself?
It really comes down to electronic shifting and carbon mid depth aero wheels. If those are things you want absolutely go with the Scott. If you plan on racing go with the Scott.
I doubt you’ll be a meaningful amount faster with the Scott than you would be with the Cervelo. The tires that come on the Addict 20 are definitely faster but I wouldn’t choose a bike based on the tires it comes with.
Geometry and ride feel are other things to consider but you basically need to rent and ride both to feel that out.
If I’m dropping that much on a bike, I’m knowing what bike I want and why. I’m not relying on a bunch of internet weirdos to say! 😆
Te Aspero is essentially a road bike with more tires clearance. I don’t know anything about the other bike
