This shotgun has a hidden superpower, but here are three interesting facts you probably don’t know. First, it pioneered a secret system no one saw coming. The Benelli M4 introduced the ARGO system, autoregulating gas operated. Two tiny pistons, self-cleing and made of stainless steel, sit right in front of the chamber. They absorb pressure, adjust automatically, and let this shotgun cycle almost any 12 gauge shell without a single tweak. No other shotgun did it like this. But here’s where it gets tactical. It was built for war. In 1998, the US military needed a new combat shotgun. Benelli answered with the M4, a semi-auto beast with a collapsible stock, Pikatiny rails, and modular parts that switch out fast. In 1999, it became the M1014, the official shotgun of the US Marine Corps. And finally, it lasts longer than most rifles. The M4 can go over 25,000 rounds without needing a major part replaced. Matte black steel, hardized aluminum, corrosion resistant, night ready, jungle, sand, snow, you name it, it just keeps going. That’s why when shotguns go to war, the Benelli M4 leads the charge.

  1. The "only" shotgun the military uses? Who put up this garbage AI video? When I was in, my base used Mossbergs. I checked with a CATM buddy and he told me his base are using the Mossberg 590A1. So Benelli are not the "only" shotguns the military trusts.
