  1. Could be that the rim tape isn’t covering this area thoroughly. I’d just ignore it if there aren’t any obvious gaps between the rim and the tape. It’s highly likely that the sealant will seal that gap.

    When I install a new tire and add sealant, I pump it up to 45 lbs or so and hold wheel at 9 and 3 and shake it up and down while rotating wheel to distribute sealant throughout inside of tire.
