  1. IMO the best & easiest route would be to get a seat post that fits the saddle, or vice versa!

  2. The problem is that I can’t find a different seatpost that’s 27,0 mm and can accommodate a carbon saddle.

  3. That style of seatpost is fine as is. It clamps from the top. Its the one’s that grip from the side you need to worry about.

  4. This seatpost works with 7×9, because it clamps top and bottom.

    That said, there are a lot of nicer posts that will work with carbon rails in 27.2. Are you explicitly looking for the cheapest seatpost you can find?

    Bro, I assume by getting carbon saddle, you’re wanting to save weight. Why are you mounting it on the heaviest seat post available? The top nut on that seat post weighs more than your saddle.
