Wore through the paint on my Tubus Duo after just a couple 100kms of touring, and wasn’t happy with how much it was rattling around. Trying some heat shrink tubing to protect it from rubbing and to stabilise my Ortlieb bags. Changed from the 10mm to 12mm adapters and it fits nice and snug now! Have to get out for some testing, but it seems like a solid upgrade.

I need to do this on my rack, however The tubes on my rack are closed, does anyone know of a way to do this with heat shrink? I have used electrical tape and it just rips to shreds.
