Speaking as a mom of a 7 year old girl. I got the C2 pro and she was on max settings within the week and is asking for a faster scooter. Get the c2 pro. No, I am not getting her a faster scooter until age 9 maybe. The c2 pro is supposed to be for age 8-14. There is no way a teen would be satisfied with this model, get the upgrade.
