When I took my bike to get a rear flat fixed at a bike shop, I asked the guy to drill 2 holes in the front fender, and I used them to extend the mudflap on my fenders from basically doing nothing to almost full coverage. We'll see how it goes on Monday but it seems like it'll be a big improvement! Here's to no more poop boots!!!
I might go back and take the existing mud flap off so it sits a bit more flush with the wheel and fender but I just wanted something on there because I am sick of how nasty my pants and boots are when I get to work.

What did you use for the extension?
I did this with a section of a tire, it’s held up for years and works great.
