On my kid's 16" bike the rear wheel squeaks. I lubed the chain up and it didn't solve the problem. It only squeaks when using the pedals, not when coasting.
It's a kid bike so no disc brakes, just the pedal backwards brakes.

Sounds like the bearings in the hub are dead, sounds really bad and at this point its probably ruined the bearing race inside the hub, if so the hub is probably scrap
How tight is the chain?
