Recently drove about 100 miles to pickup this 730 in a 23” size. I’ve been searching for the right size bike in my relative area for a while and this one finally came up on FB Marketplace.
I cleaned it up a little bit, and then rummaged through all the parts I have laying around. I ended up adding Microshift trigger shifters, a new stem, Wald handlebars, some generic ergo grips, old Wellgo platforms, and a C19 saddle.
The bike rides incredibly well and feels great. I have a full 90’s Shimano Deore LX group set I’m thinking about swapping over, but I’m not sure how much of an upgrade it would over this old Acera group it has on it.
The only other change I’m waiting on right now is a set of 700×38 gravel tires that I ordered from AliExpress.
