My new bike came installed with a chainguide, but i just found out that it already has some pretty noticeable rubbing marks, is this normal? It doesn’t even have any spacers behind it so this is the farthest it can be installed

It just looks like dirt and grease
If the chain is centered in the guide you’re good
if it’s making noise when you ride that’s definitely not normal! you could try taking it to your local shop – they might be able to adjust the guide without adding spacers.
If there are any spacers around your cranks spindle on either side, consider moving one from the left side to the right side. Will move the chain ring out by a couple millimeters. If it doesn’t have any considerable ordering some for your bike. Just a couple millimeters if that is enough.
I had the same issue when I put on a new set of cranks, thankfully my BB that I bought also came with the spacers.
