Light E Bikes are perfect for Marketing. Traditionally less weight means more expensive in bikes. But. Batteries are heavy AND expensive. So you get to sell less battery for more money.
So light, u don't even says how much it weighs. Thinking 20kg. 44lbs. Which is heavy.
hopefully in a few years these bikes are priced in a manner where you dont feel you have to choose between a car and a bike. If it was 800-1200 range everyone would get it.

if it weighs more than 12kg it's not lightweight at all. hell, 12 is kinda heavy if you compare it to really light bikes. also the motor and battery has to be way less powerful.
