Actually it all started in 2015 Sepang when Marquez tries to defend Lorenzo from Rossi. Then Rossi begin to hit Marquez then the rest is history.

Although this short is inaccurate, here is an interesting fact … Only the premier class raced at Laguna Seca, so although 2013 was MM's first-ever race there, he won the race by 2,2 seconds, beating the likes of VR (who raced there 9 times but only won once), Nicky Hayden (9 times, 2 wins) and Colin Edwards (8 times).

Rossi couldn't believe a rider that is better than him existed. Rossi already had his hands full against lorenzo but then out of nowhere a rookie comes in 2013 and starts winning from first race and became a rookie MotoGP world champion. 1 year could've been a fluke and rossi & marc relationship was still good but after Marc Marquez won again in 2014 with 10 race win dominating all year, Rossi knew marc is trouble for his legacy & status as best ever. Rossi then turned on marc with his mind games in press conference and calling him a dirty rider and started clashing with him out of spite. When the dust settled- Rossi never won a championship again. Marc went on to win 6 world Championships and now on his way to breaking ever record there is and becoming the best rider ever in history.
