If you’ve read couple of my previous posts about ordering the new 2025 electric P-Line and getting the older model being sent to me; well the new bike eventually arrived today! Over a month of waiting without a bike.
I’ve only unboxed it and it looks very pretty and all that. I won’t get the chance to use it till the weekend.
However while i was fitting the saddle I remembered I’d ordered the Brompton toolkit with my initial order. I went to install it in the frame but it wouldn’t go in. There is now a thick cable being routed internally so the cavity where the toolkit would normally go is partially blocked by this cable.
I’ve just checked the details for this on Brompton website and they’ve added a Compatibility note which now states “This toolkit does not fit in the mainframe of the C, P, T line power by e-Motiq and G line bikes.”.
This is unfortunate as I really liked this toolkit. I’m going to have to return it.

Gods be good!!
Bummer … perhaps it’ll fit in the VINCITA boomerang bag?

Depending on what you need to bring with you, Brompton also makes a triangle bag like this that is specific for flat fixes also.

P.S. AMAZING color!! 🤩
The battery bag has enough space for it
That bike is beautiful
The Brompton toolkit, while nifty, is a complete bump, the components are low quality. The best multitools are half the price and can go in the electric bag, which makes more sense since you will always have it with you.
