In my knowledge, football players are not trained to sustain full sprinting speeds over a certain distance. Mbappe has the explosive burst to compete but the question is if he's able to sustain this speed over 100m. There's also the question whether Mbappe has a good enough sprinting form to sustain in high speed situations.

Yah question could a sprinter run with a ball as fast as pro football players, for the vast majority no unless if maybe the sprinter is also a pro football player, which is pretty much no one.
Mbappe never runs though, just stands there complaining while costing his team trophies 😂
