Low dose estrogen is virtually always paired with nightly progesterone to further dampen the effects of estrogen on the uterine lining. But by suppressing growth factors in the uterus, you are also suppressing growth factors throughout the body.
For the majority of women, my preferred approach to HRT, which maximizes cellular rejuvenation and repair throughout the body, is physiologic estrogen paired with cyclic progesterone.
Yes, this means you will have a monthly, period-like bleed. But it’s not entirely a bad thing. That monthly bleed serves as a marker to show that you are getting the benefits of estrogen throughout your body.

progesterone downregulates the estrogen receptors so progesterone blocks the growth effect the proliferation of the uterine lining stops when you add the progesterone now if you give nightly progesterone every day you get progesterone with a little bit of estradi basically you’re suppressing the growth by knocking it down everything SLE Day by the progesterone you’re suppressing the growth factors by lowering the effect of estrogen on its receptors so you’re negating the benefits that you’re trying to create by knocking down your estrogen receptor function so you won’t grow the uterine lining what else are you not growing if you’re suppressing it in the uterine lining that’s a sign that you’re not optimizing it anywhere

So what you are saying is that we should not take progesterone and estradiol at the same time? If so, would it be best to take estradiol in the morning and progesterone at night to help with sleeping ( allopregnalone)? Please explain
Thanks
It will help if you explain for all confused women here that you are talking about women who are not yet post menopause!
I don't have a uterus or a cervix. For the past 8 years I have been dealing with hot flashes, mood swings, no sleep, constant urination…recently while getting hotflashes, I feel a pulling of the ovaries. This is not right. My dr just prescribed Primrin.
This is extremely confusing. Is it a good thing to be taking progesterone at night when you are 48 and you can sleep or is it wrong to be taking it very confusing message
Thank you for this information
can low progesterone mimic fibromyalgia?
I have Endo and i stopped taking visanne a month and a half ago after 6 months of usage due to awful symptoms which started over night-
Awuful legs pain and weakness, could barely walk, endo symptoms, auwful headaches, nausea, every physical effort makes feel like i am about to faint, sleeping a lot, peeing all the time which stopped after 3 days of stopping the pill, and much more.
still have bad symptoms.
Every doctor said i have virus/corona.
Every blood test i did came out fine, CT scan of the brain came out fine, urine samples fine, stool samples fine.
I still have periods even with both. I take everyday because stopping mid cycle made emotional roller coaster worse
I am confused—women who have uteruses have to take progesterone to prevent overgrowth of lining and cancer.
I had a hysterectomy & my gyno has me on low dose progesterone as well as all other HRT’s .. love my gyno
What do we do then?
So what is this lady actually saying?
SO WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO INSTEAD
No clue what she's talking about?
So what are u supposed to do then? U can’t just say this without offering a recommendation as to what we should be doing. 😢
Okay and what?! So stupid video
I wonder if progesterone could benefit young women with endometriosis since it suppresses the growth of uterine lining.
I don’t understand how this affects the rest of the body please explain
I’m lost
Is this cycling for post menopause?
I found this out the hard way at 66 with an un-knowledgable practitioner who was overdosing me on estrogen at the same time she cut my progesterone dose. Unbelievable practitioners can be this inept.
Such a clear explanation. Understanding how progesterone and estrogen work together helps women make informed decisions about HRT. We are creating a safe space where women can learn, ask questions, and feel supported in choosing what’s best for their health.
So we do estrogen in the day and progesterone at bedtime ?

Why spread confusion when it’s standard to pair progesterone with estrogen?
I'm taking melatonin tablets every night, does it suppress Estrogen? I simply can't sleep without it
I'm just learning about hormones at the age of 58-59. Progesterone vaginally was ok for me at 100mg, added another and it made my whole area down there feel like I was just about to start a period and it gave me pain. I use it orally now. I had to go to the gynae as I have a little fibroid but that was shown to be fine at scan. Anyone else get pain and strange feelings from progesterone? It's micronised.
So why has my doctors told me I am supposed to take 100mg every night?
So I have womb post menopause plan to take my utrogestan at bedtime so should I apply my estrodial cream in the day ? Please help I want to get the full effects of each hormone x
I have been taking 75 mg progesterone nightly for a month now. Totally dry and libido low. Never happened. Is this normal? Any suggestions? Thanks!!
I’m convinced all these doctors are guessing.
I just and ultrasound im 61 i stop the progesterone for four or five days and I started to bleed so I wanna have this test done and this was my results and they want me to do a biopsy, but I don’t feel like I need to any advice.
endometrial thickness,
Every race group sticks up for their own ethnicity and group EXCEPT white people. If I had a dollar for every white person that doesn’t give any f*%ks for their people or culture I’d have like a $1 million. Its so bad that I’m also siding with george soros nowadays at this point…. white people who hate their own skin, which is well over 60% imo of white people; especially the 85% of white woman that f*%king hate me, as a heterosexual white man im done with my own people. We will definitely be f*%ked out of existence. If white people wake up itll be by the time we’re barely 15% of the population in the united states imo
Please do a vid on perimenopause and endometriosis with a uterus, cannot find consistent information
What is the option?
Is this the same with progestin?
So what do we do? I have the Mirena that kept my lining thin and abnormal cells from forming. I was told the cels lovvvve Estrogen. The doctors didn’t want to give me Estrogen patches but I was having night sweats,so they agreed to 37.5mg only
