train luggage frustrations 😣😭

Commuting this morning i stored my brommie in the train cycle/luggage area and there was a family with lots of suitcases, they crammed in their luggage and sat on them (on the rolling suitcases), eventually as the train moved a person (sitting on a suitcase) fell from the suitcase, which crashed with my brommie, and my cateye rear light mount broke off… 😭😭 I think it acutally protected my brommie from further damage, as the noise from the crash was quite substantial and I was super worried. The lesson is probably that i shouldn’t store brommie in the normal bike area when there are too many people traveling (the family just jumped in at the last minute tho so I couldn’t do much)…
