    Fo’ sure! Whatever works for you will be fine, but you’ll often have issues with brake caliper clearance or pad location if using different wheel sizes.

    Old frames can be flexy so be wary of running anything too close to stays.

    Edit: I doubt you’ll get anything close to a 40 in there!

    Highly unlikely that 40mm tyres will fit on this bike. Normally the widest that fits is 28mm.

  3. I have 38s in my vintage frame gravel bike I woudnt feel comfortable putting anything bigger than that in
