Cycling home after work, was just down the road from my house when a car was coming behind me. Decided to get on to the path to let the car past (it’s a narrow road so not enough room for both of us) and ended up catching the front wheel on that tiny little curb.
Flew off the bike, tried to catch myself and ended up with a radial head fracture 🙂 the driver was very nice and stopped to see if I was okay. Took myself to A&E the next day for X Rays. Be mindful of the little bumps folks!

Went down in the exact same way the other month, also a radius fracture. Time off the bike sucked but my wrist healed super quick. My doctor permitted me to start riding basically as soon as I could squeeze the brakes. Hope you heal fast!
