  1. Bikes in general make that argument on their own, not with electric attached or folding attached. The folding aspect is just making a bike fit in a non-bike friendly world. A standard bike weight and space needed is already a non issue. The folding bike is the attempt at fitting in when the real argument is having the system accommodate bikes. Ebikes are yet again heavier, embrace the bike not the e or folding aspects, that’s my point I guess.

    Folding bikes are heavier, they arguably use less space, but in terms of transport, it’s weight that matters most.

  2. Why would I want that? I have a commuting bike and I have a truck. I have all the bases covered, biking without a motor, and using a truck when needed.
