Hi all,
Ive been trying to wheelie on my bike, but still cant even rise it to fall back. I gave it a try to stand next a wall to find my balance point, but when riding I find it hard to raise the front wheel: I saw many on youtube but Im still stuck on the first part.
Any recommendations ?

Gotta commit to falling backwards so you can find the balance point
At the start you gotta just yank that fucker upppp, you’re not really trying to do a wheelie at first but you’re learning how to pop the wheel up and then after you can do that you’re trying to learn how to wheelie.
Right here it looks like your butt is floating over the seat, which means your weight is too forward and far less stable, and it looks like you’re pulling up rather than back which again means you’re weight is far more forward than it should be. When you’re finding your balance point on the wall you’ll notice that all your weight is on your seat. Saying all that it is hard to tell from a mile away lol
Try this: Make sure you’re sitting down on the seat and bring your chest down so that it’s almost touching your bars, like comically low, and then as you push with your dominant foot stay seated and throw your chest/shoulders right back so that you end up with your arms fully locked out. This won’t be like good form by any means but it’s an exaggerated version of good form in popping a wheelie and if you really do it with gusto you’re almost guaranteed to over shoot it and have to step off the back. I’d recommend not strapping in just yet so that you know your feet are gonna be fine just coming off the pedals. If you need to build up to doing it while moving because it’s scary (I did because it is scary at first lol) try that from a track stand, the only difference is that you have to snap your bars to level when the wheel comes up other wise it kinda feels all lopsided and weird.
Hopefully that will get you closer to the balance point, practice makes perfect. Good luck x

Keep it up. Once you can consistently loop out you will develop the ability to wheelie naturally
