I already got a 28 tooth follow the leader guard sprocket, but I just realized that I won’t have enough space to fit it. Is there any way I could make it fit? )I have a 25 tooth right now)
I rode BMX in the 90s & am catching up. Will a modern frame not accept a larger sprocket? 43t or such from back in the day

Add a spacer or two behind the sprocket and you should be fine. Doesn’t need much clearance. The more washers you add the worse your chain alignment will be. Use the minimum amount you need to clear the frame.

You could probably add a couple mm of spacer.
I’ve also given the chain stays a lil tappy tap with a ball peen before. If you go that route, you’re not trying to dent it, you’re just trying to flatten it out a bit.
