  1. BALONEY ! most of those bottles were actually given by fans , teammates, or organizers along the route earlier. The cyclists are following littering rules that they throw it only in one place so that the spectators can collect it and throw it in the garbage after. Now , they get rid of it because they'll most probably climb a higher route, and they wanted to lighten their load (weight) . There aren't any folklores in Tour de France. OMG…lol…
