I am new to this and doing a 70.3 in March, trying to figure out if this bike can get the job done. I can spend money on the back end over time fixing the bike up as needed and any upgrade recommendations would be great too! Trying to determine which bikes are worth the price has been a struggle! Thank you!

Yeah that seems like a good price. Keep in mind that the wear items (tires, cables, pads, chain) may need to be replaced, and you may end up spending another few hundred on that
