Just a note for dreamers: Put in a written notification at all your local animal shelters you are looking for and willing to adopt any Main Coon that may randomly show up. Remember, humans do occasionally get too old to care for a cat or pass away or move out of town or Country. You will not pay the high retail price but just adoption and medical fees.

i had a maine coon show up to my backyard, it was only like half the size of the ones in the video, i was petting it for about a week, feeding it daily, and felt like we had a good friendship. until one day, i was petting it, and it went really crazy and crawled up my arm, tearing and ripping me up from limb to limb all over my neck and face. those animals are not fcking safe and friendly lets put it that way. its like the pitbull of the cat world i guess to say.

These cats are highly intelligent and curious. They follow to see what youโre doing, almost like theyโre supervising or joining in on the activity
Sorry, they only follow who they want to and when they want to. Our neighbour had two gorgeous Maine Coon cats. If they did not like cuddling, they hid beneath the couch and did not turn up for a while. I rarely was among the privileged hoomans who got their permission to stroke them.
