I have a used Pinarello F4:13 with Continental 700×25 tires, Dura Ace, 10 speed and rim brakes. I want to make my bike faster but I'm not sure where to start. I am considering upgrading my wheels and maybe tires to make the bike faster. Given this is Black Friday, I thought this might be a good time to buy some items. I want to treat myself to some nice carbon wheels and I am looking for a decent upgrade. I imagine I should be able to pick up something nice for under $1k, right? i bought the bike for $1k , about six years ago. I would be interested to hear if there are any wheels that are on sale this weekend? I have no idea what would work or what is a good deal. Since, i use 25mm tires should i upgrade to 28mm? I think the pictures show there is clearance. Thanks for your input. Happy Holidays!

are these wheels a good value at $782 or over-priced? The include stainless steel bearings. Or should i spend extra for ceramic speed bearings?

Give it to a faster rider?

But seriously, sure, try 28s at a lower tire pressure. That should be faster in theory.
