Says it’s in pristine condition. It’s 26” wheels. Google keeps saying different dates but seems to be either 2009, 2010, or possibly even 2017? What are your thoughts I would be buying it to ride it for shuttles / jump bike
Absolutely not a 2017. I’d say late 2000s is accurate given the crosmax wheels.
That was a sick machine in it’s day. More modern hardware will perform better but this could be a lot of fun to shred. Only risk is if something breaks you’re going to have a hard time replacing it 1:1

It’s worth £650 if you can afford to waste £650 plus whatever it costs to get fixed, if the parts are even still available.
Currently, I don’t advise anyone buys a MTB older than 2017 (this definitely is not 2017, easily 10 years older than that) because the geometry and parts have changed so rapidly since then.
Pre-2017ish bikes, on the whole, are complete garbage compared to anything after that

If it works perfectly it is worth 650 USD. Finding parts might be hard but it will be an absolute monster on the trails. I have a late 2000s iron horse 7 and that looks like it has the same linkage setup and frame geometry so I would guess it’s a late 2000s bike. Just a heads up about this sub, there tends to be a crowd here that says anything except the latest and greatest tricked out wallet annihilator 9000 is trash.

There’s a lot of fun left in that bike for $650. Offer $500 and see what happens. Suspension and drivetrain is good stuff.
