oh my trigger warning my feet like is that a bad bruise like it just tell me just tell tell me right now do you does this look broken cuz it here’s a quick way for you to tell if you might have an ankle sprain or even a fracture if you have swelling pain or even bruising on the outside of your ankle you might have a sprain and if any of these highlighted areas are painful to touch or here and you can’t walk for more than a step or two that’s a sign you need an x-ray because you might have a fracture

  1. I had a fractured tibia bone it was a twist fracture and it swelled so much that when I got to the doctor, they could already put a cast on it and I didn’t have to have surgery. If it didn’t swell I would’ve had to have a surgery to put a metal plate in my leg.

  2. I sprained my ankle, playing soccer with my brother and the boss slipped into my foot and my ankle twisted on the ball and I fell down and I was crying for like three hours😭😭😭😭😭

  3. As someone who has sprained their feet 5 times, the first time my foot swelled up to the size of roughly a golf ball. I needed to wear a brace but it simply wouldn’t fit 😭. I was in 5th grade at the time and at a friends house. My friend’s sister also had a friend over. That friend Carried me up the stairs ❤

  4. That is interesting! I broke my ankle almost 4 years ago, during the summer of 2021. I was so extremely embarrassed because it happened in front of everyone. I was doing a tornado kick but decided to do it mid-momentum of a back-spinning axe kick, which distrupted the whole thing and I ended up breaking my ankle. I was so embarrassed, but some people luckily thought it was cool. I remember on the day I had to get surgery, I saw my foot and it was extremely bruised. Purple, red, etc. It was insane!

  7. I fractured my leg and year and I have ago, I got to urgent care and I could not walk a step, they did an X-ray and said, oh I think it will just be a bad sprain but the results will be in tomorrow, try to take a step or two, but then the next day they said, you fractured it do not walk on it and get a brace.

  8. Sprained my ankle 5 days ago.
Jumped up playing pickleball and landed with 230 lbs on it. Moderate sprain—didn’t feel a pop or break, but it was painful as hell. Limped home, rested, and iced the first day.

On day 2, I started rehab with a resistance band—ankle circles, side movements, etc. I began moving it right away. Noticed bruising on the outside and a little on the inside.

Day 3: swimming, calf raises, walking around the house, stairs, squats, lunges.
    Day 4: same routine.
Day 5 (today): 6 miles on the bike, swimming, one-leg half squats, and more band rehab.

It’s still swollen, especially after exercising, but I’m not pushing into major pain—just tolerating some discomfort while rehabbing. If you’re interested, I can also share what foods and nutrients I’ve added to support healing.
    Stopped icing after day 1.

Good luck everyone—keep moving and be patient.
I also published a book in May called Inner Alignment.

  9. It’s been 5 months since I sprained my ankle. I recovered from the injury during the first month — it healed, and I can walk.

But when I jump or run, it still hurts — there’s pain.

Why could this be? I already had an X-ray, and there were no findings. What else can I do?

It was an inversion-type injury. I sprained it when I landed after jumping.

  10. Just hurt my leg so bad skating I went for a pop shove up the bank landed it but once I came down front foot was caved in on it self I scream so mf loud I almost thought I needed ah fuckimg doctor on the sence bro this pain was unimaginable shit hurts and I had two work ah 10 hour shift right after and gotta do it at 3pm agian tomorrow
Wish we luck imma strap em up tight and play ball lol

  11. I am having pain when I touch the posterior lateral malleolus highlighted part after one week but I can walk but could not twist inside or outside the ankle. Does that mean I have a fracture?😔
