Which travel fits your riding needs and style better? What are the wheels, carbon on 9.9 aluminum on the 9.7? BC riding id take the 9.7 Ontario riding id take the 9.9

It depends on what kind of use are you intended to do, and what kind of trails are you usually riding.

1 if you love to pedal longer distances: is lighter and better at climbing.
2 it is worse at climbing but is a fun machine down the hills!!

I would get the 2022, its roughly 2kg lighter, and it has less travel, but it depends on if you want a light trail bike, or a reasonably heavy short travel enduro bike

  4. Kashima is a gimmick. It looks cool but it won’t change your riding.

I’d get the 2023 with the stock fork.

  5. I would seriously go with the 2023 one over the 2022, the rear being a spring shock will give you a better time on the trails and the geometry is more modernized and you’ll have more fun overall. Had the same rear fox as the 2022 on my last bike and it was awful over longer decents.

  6. Depends on what you plan on riding. The first is more of an all around use but on the lighter side while the second is for bigger stuff from trail to even park.
