Hi yall, I was wondering what the general opinion on the Felt Breed GRX 610 was. It's on a closeout sale (im sure Felt is about to announce a new much better bike) for $1599. It has specs that I'd never expect to be able to ride anytime in the near future, as well as being carbon. Is this sale too good to be true? I have put a lot of research into trying to find a negative to buying this, and the only thing I've come out with is that it being carbon means I'm gonna have to invest in a better car rack and tools. I saw one video on YouTube of someone riding a Breed so far, but I think that was the 820 not the 610. I've seen some complaints about the seat-post and tires, but seeing that I've never owned a bike worth more than $2000 I'm sure I'll be fine. Another major concern is long distance comfort.

It’s a great bike and can take big tires. Pros like Dylan Johnson raced it last season to levels us mortals will never achieve(17th place in a pro race). The only downside is it doesn’t have a lot of rackmount points so it would not be the best bike packing bike out of the box
It seems like a good gravel bike. I honestly don’t like the name it doesn’t sit well with me for a gravel bike but I think the bike itself seems really solid.
I recently got a breed 820 and I’m at 150miles in so far. The seat post is an issue that I’m troubleshooting right now and I’m hoping I have it resolved now. I would recommend swapping the tires out and setting it up tubeless when you get around to it. It came with Torreno dry 38s and I put on Kenda Crusher 45/40s and it is much faster and capable on dirt and road. I really like the bike alot, feels fast on dirt and pavement. I got a bike fit done and the longest ride I’ve done is 3hrs and I was comfortable all the way through and I’m not concerned about taking it further in the future.
It’s a very good bike. The sale price is not too good to be true.
Aesthetically, something just seems off about the proportions. Maybe this isn’t the most flattering photo. Other than that it’s a great buy at that price. Comfort will come down to fit and touch points on the bike. Other than that it’s pretty standard fare carbon gravel bike, and that’s not a bad thing.
