I‘m actually surprised that anybody listens to music on the bike. Takes away one vital source of information in order to make it home alive.

Do Not use your hands to break a fall, EVER. Roll to your back and take the fall.
You will probably break a rib or two but it better than two hand and arm casts..

i bike and listen to dnb but i use a bluetooth speaker at the top of my camelback so i can hear traffic all around me still. ill never ride with headphones for this reason. you cant be a defensive rider if you have no idea whats happening all around you! i hope you recover well, and get back on the saddle <3

Old school house, trance, techno, liquid dnb. All get me to work quicker.
Not TOO loud so I can’t hear the traffic… but sometimes far too loud but my eyes are on stalks. Hyper aware.

I do like bicycling and drum and bass, but no, would not do both at the same time.

I am sorry to see this and I wish you a speedy recovery.
To all others, be warned that you don’t fucking put headphones on when you ride

I did the same thing twice in June and September of 2012 listening to Spitfire by Porter Robinson.

I just threw up in my mouth a little. :O
You can’t post the x-ray without also posting the track in question.
How’s your relationship with your mom?
