  1. Hey, just cos some stuff is old doesn’t make it vintage.

    It’s good enough to function fine, but it’s not exactly premium kit. I’d tune it and run it until you find the upgrade you want. Get the BB done cheap by a bike co-op.

    In the meantime, listen to the frameset and wheels. What do they need? Ride a variety of terrains and send off the old iteration properly. The next one will be all the better for it.

  2. I have 100 and 200GS on my early 90’s Norco and it works just fine for what I need. I did swap out the levers for some Tektro’s that I had lying around.
