I found this bike of fb marketplace and it cost 250aud (160usd) it is a 2014 specialized camber evo I was wondering if it is a bargain or a crappy old bike?
As long as you’re fine potentially replacing everything that is probably worn on it

Will the tires hold air if pumped up? If so test ride it and see how it does.

the geometry is super old but the price is good. I still wouldnt cause many old parts cant be upgraded anymore

Depends. Whats your intended use for the bike? And what is your theoretical budget? For the price you listed you probably won’t find anything … well.. anythying at all really.
But the biggest thing we can’t tell from this one picture is: what state everything on this bike is in.
For all you know the shock and fork are completely shot and haven’t been serviced in over 10 years. At which point we come to the next point: this is way outdated in terms of components and geo. Finding parts or servicing is going to be tough and/or expensive. Even moreso if you can’t do it yourself.
And at that point i’d rather put that budget in a newer better hardtail (less maintenance & less things to fail)

for that price it’s not bad assuming it’s in decent mechanical shape.
