Hey everyone,

I’m looking to buy my first gravel bike and I’d really appreciate your opinions before I pull the trigger.

Bike: Cannondale Topstone 2 Alloy GRX 400 (2021) — Graphite
Condition: Lightly ridden (~150 km), looks almost new
Price: €600 + €100 shipping

Specs (as listed by seller):
• Fork: BallisTec Full Carbon, internal routing, 12×100 thru axle
• Groupset: Shimano GRX 400 (front + rear derailleurs, brakes)
• Crank: FSA
• Cockpit: Cannondale 3 alloy
• Wheel upgrade: GXD 2.0 Alloy 700c reflective wheelset
• Tires: Pirelli Angel DT Urban 700×40
• Saddle: Selle Royal Comfort
• Extras included: Rear rack, fenders, rear light (full commuter setup)

The bike is mostly stock except for the upgraded wheelset + commuter equipment.

I want this as my first gravel bike for mixed riding: paved roads, light gravel, and commuting.
Do you think €600 + €100 shipping is a fair deal for this spec and condition?
Is there anything I should watch out for specifically with the 2021 Topstone 2?

Thanks a lot for any feedback — after this I’ll finally be joining the gravel world

  1. I’d say that’s a good deal. The bike seems to be in great condition.
