In my opinion it still has some life left I wouldn’t change it out

File down the edges and send it. This is really common for aluminum.

Does your cassette has play on it? If yes it’s probably time or soon time. Try it without mounting it on the wheel because of the little movement before it engages the ratchet which will give you an impression there is play

this is why i really don’t like aluminum engine blocks and chainrings. blowouts cracking bending. all aluminum and mild steel.

No. These need to be changed when they don’t engage properly. These grooves make removing cassette harder, but cause no other issues.

If there’s no play, send it. Else try filing it down. XD eliminates this issue. Microspline minimizes it but still it happens.

Id just file the burrs. This isnt particularly bad.

Yes. Just hard to pull cassettes off when worn like this. Grease the freehub body to lessen this.
