Picked up this fixed-gear from a local shop here in Germany — an old French track bike. Gonna tweak a few things, add some parts, and then it’s ready to go😉
Sweet stuff, need to make sure to have foot retention, and brakes

classy. be sure to research tubular tires/sew ups before you go skidding around and get a flat. may want to build a set of clincher wheels for street use.

Gorgeous! I would love to see some close up shots, maybe the lugs on the headtube, Personally I’d throw on some new rubber, (although are those tubular rims/tires? If so ride em til they are worn through or get a flat. I don’t know how you would repair a tubular flat, seems like you just have to get new tires designed for street usage,) maybe different bar tape and call it good! If the rims are indeed tubular, and you have the funds to get a nice set of period correct or aesthetically matching wheels or rims to rebuild, it is likely worth it in reducing your headaches alone.
