This is the problem with Italy in general. All the big areas are just swamped with people all times of the year there is no off-season and it just makes it not fun. Was there last year never saw it busier don’t wanna go back

I live in a resort town in California. Every Winter Season we have tourists from all over the Country. We welcomed them and little town comes to life. And give us a boost to our local businesses. 😊
I’m Italian in Italy right now. I’m going to the Almafi coast today. I can assure you there is no reason you cannot travel to the amalfi coast. It’s a great place and has a beautiful view.

Took a guided date trip to the Amalfi Coast from Napoli back in 2022 and I loved it. I thought it was better than Cinque Terre. I wish I could live at the Amalfi Coast for about a month.
Totally don’t agree. Don’t go during peak season. Go in September for example. Do your research and know how to get around. It’s one of my favorite trips and I would absolutely go back again
I visited at the beginning of November a while back and weather was good. Not too many crowds in Sorrento and Positano and Pompeii. However bus in Positano was so unreliable. We were all standing waiting over 1 hour for the delayed bus. Apart from that I really enjoyed the visit.
4. If you do not know how to correctly plan a travel stay in your garden, beer & barbeque will fit perfectly to your demands. Beautiful places are always croweded, especially when there is a good weather.
Go May or October , avoid the weekend , weather still great and the whole place is pretty much yours…. Also don’t forget Sorrento and take a ferry for Capri… thank me later 😊
