I designed these airless rubber tires in sections so you can 3D print them at home each section Clips firmly into the rim and matches up with a section next to it creating a nearly seamless transition when you’re rolling the individual sections connect to each other with zip ties they’re printed using TPU filament which is soft and flexible very similar to what skateboard wheels are made out of the infill percentage is tuned to achieve the proper tire pressure in this case it feels like about 35 PSI what do you think would you ride with me

I 3d printed a modular full-body cast so you only need to print out the parts you need for the specific bones broken from using these tires
Kids tires ?
But how much
Cool idea, they should have treading though
Can they be tuned to match 75psi? (Actual question)
Hope people with 3D printers will die 🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭😭😭
Solving problems that already have solutions 😂
how do they handle cornering in the wet or braking?
Costs more in tpu and 3d printing hours than an actual tyre
Seems like with lateral force these will just rip off the rim
Yea these arent working unless you go slow and straight on a smooth surface
My man is trying to reinvent the wheel
Yeah, I saw a very similar method a couple of days ago, but for car tires
I wouldn't. With how hot the weather has been getting you'll end up eating asphalt when they get sticky and shoot you forward.
Every skateboarder knows those wheels are gonna suck on a bike
All the commenters saying the wheels will fall apart hitting a curb or turning.
Didn't you see the zip ties!?!
See? Perfectly safe. Because…. zip ties.
Another useless thing that will go to the landfill….square edge tires with no tread…reeaaalllly smart😅
I curious what if you brake hard with this tires.
First of all, before you start designing whatever you want, please learn some principles about how things work. This tire has zero cornering capability — total clickbait.
Can we see them in action?
Try making them more circular just for turns, and maybe try printing them where they could fit under a rubber tire.

I recommend some tread
imagine spending more in TPU filament than in an actual tire.
Pion you sips the tire to fast
Although I can see many flaws, I see how invested you are and I love the engineering! Keep going, maybe you'll find the next revolution!
They look cool but the biggest issue with them is that they are not rounded. If someone attempts turn at high speed with these, they would have no edge grip. Cool idea tho!
